Haha I so love this one. Owning dogs as pets is relatively new here, so owner behavior seems a bit odd to me sometimes. In retrospect however, this makes sense. The streets are dirty, just like any city, and floors inside homes are spotless. Put the shoes on the dog outside and take them off when he comes inside. I just thought of something - do you think they have inside slippers for the dogs too? That would be AWESOME!
I'm impressed that the dog seems so comfortable or calm in them - I'd think they would try to chew them off!
